The Canadian Antiques Roadshow Newsletter
October/November 2007 Issue 20

After being pre-empted on October 19th- the Throne Speech bumped Coronation Street, which bumped us- the Canadian Antiques Roadshow returns with the first of two shows from the University of Western Ontario in London.

On Friday October 26th at 7:30 pm Roger Crowther looks at an item once owned by Winnie the Pooh’s creator and jewellery expert Jessica Bent proves that good things do come in small packages.

On the second show from London, November 2nd, we’ll visit the home of Frederick Banting, the physician who won the Nobel Prize for discovering insulin and, as it turns out, was also quite a painter. We’ll also get a look at some pretty special golf clubs and take a look at a dog whose beauty isn’t readily apparent.
