The Canadian Antiques Roadshow Newsletter
September/October 2007 Issue 19

There’s lots of great stuff happening for the Canadian Antiques Roadshow.

The big news, of course, is that the brand new season of shows begins October 5th on CBC Television. We’re really excited about the new shows. The spring tour was a huge success: bigger crowds, more wonderful treasures and lots of fabulous stories.

Roadshow fans waiting to get in.

The first stop on this year’s tour is Vernon, British Columbia and it’s a show filled with glamour, intrigue and whimsy. Join us from the beautiful Okanagan Valley for the Canadian Antiques Roadshow.

Along with all the other wonderful exhibitors and events, our very own Douglas Stocks will be giving two talks entitled Past Treasures, Future Gems. On Saturday at 2 pm and Sunday at noon, Douglas will explain how to recognize and purchase antiques that have potential to increase in value.

In addition, Douglas will be joined by other Roadshow experts to offer free appraisals BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Attendees are welcome to sign up and bring one small item to the show.

Please email cmcdonald@caroadshow.org and include a description of your item, your full name and phone number and the date and session (seen below) you would like to attend. Please put “Home Show” in the subject line.

Friday, Oct. 5th from 2pm to 3pm and from 5pm to 6pm
Saturday, Oct. 6th from 12pm to 1pm and from 5pm to 6pm
Sunday, Oct. 7th from 2pm to 3pm and from 4pm to 5pm
