on a calendar to enlarge for printing, apply for tickets or get additional
info on the cities we are visiting this year.
Do
you have items too large to bring yourself? Please see below:
Before
the Canadian Antiques Roadshow comes to your town, we encourage you to
write the production office or send us an e-mail if you have furniture
or other large antiques that you’d like to have evaluated, but which
are too large or bulky to bring to the venue yourself.
Once
we have your contact details and information about your items and if you
meet all the other criteria, you’ll be contacted by a production
representative. Arrangements will be made for that person and an expert
to visit you in your home to look at your furniture. Pieces are chosen
both as background dressing for the show and as suitable items for an
on-air appraisal. If you ‘loan’ your items to the show, you
are given a personal appointment time for the recording day, but not a
guarantee that you will appear on television.
So,
if you have a large piece of furniture or a great number of interesting
items which you think might be of interest to the Canadian Antiques Roadshow,
send us a note describing your treasures. Please include photographs. We’ll
need your name, address and phone numbers so that we can contact you.
